I’m finally getting around to posting the photos of Lily’s room, post painting.
I ended up doing the stripes a little differently than I had planned. I got the idea to paint the whole wall white and then do the stripes freehand with a 3” roller, letting some white show in between each stripe. It looks great, and Lily loves it. Somehow, the new colors and stripes make the room look much larger.
I’ll be painting the door dark turquoise in the next week and adding a small white crown at the top and then I’m done.

I love the stripes--especially that they are freehand and show some white
space--it loosens up the feel of the room.
