• Flourless Chocolate
• Chocolate with any flavor buttercream and chocolate mousse filling
• Sacher Torte (preferably made with apricot preserves rather than raspberry)
• Fresh Apple
• Coconut
• Carrot cake with raisins and cream cheese frosting
• Poundcake
• Cakes with rum
• Fruitcake (not the crap that comes in a tin—I mean the real deal, something homemade and doused generously over time with plenty of brandy or rum)
• Black Forest
• Berry Chantilly
• really gingery Gingerbread with lots of freshly whipped cream
• Boston Cream Pie
• Lemon
• Opera Torte

Cakes I Hate

• Red Velvet (except when it's part of a Stone Cold Creamery Cake with chocolate-raspberry ice cream)
• Carrot Cake without raisins and/or cream cheese frosting
• any cake with disgusting frosting
• Crumb
• Any cake made with substandard ingredients

Cakes I Am Indifferent To (so why bother?)

• Cheesecake, with a few exceptions
• Chocolate Raspberry
• Yellow 
• White (unless it's part of a Berry Chantilly Cake)
