Joanna asked me how long it took to figure out how to do the camtasia video. It took less than an hour of bumbling/fumbling before I had the actual video with sound. As I said
when I initially blogged about the video, I didn’t read the documentation that came with camtasia, I just kind of dove in and figured out how to make the video through trial and error. It was ridiculously easy. I’m already familiar with snagit, another techsmith product, so I knew how to begin a capture, and once I started a capture, camtasia pretty much guided me through the creation and production process.
I saved the video as a flash object so both my PC and Mac using students would be able to view it easily.
