this is the 21st century?!

Lately, I've been having regular incidents where I have to remind myself that it really is 2006, that this really is the 21st century. Let's see, the Supreme Court is less diverse now than it was ten years ago. South Dakota has outlawed all abortions (and the bill was sponsored by a Democrat). And the country is quickly becoming a theocracy.
